As the universe slowly dies to an influx of dark stars  (black holes), a bounty hunter Droik, one of the last of his kind, stumbles upon a device that can resurrect stars and bring about change to a divided world. But hope is guarenteed; while some aliens wish it's use for survival means, others seek it for their own means, whether for dominion or complete power over the cosmos, and life itself.
